AAA games are the big-budget titles we know and love. They’re exciting games built to impress, with production values that push hardware to its limits, use cutting-edge graphics, create storylines that feel like films, and utilise game mechanics that keep audiences engaged for hours – or even days.
But “big” doesn’t quite do justice to the scale involved. These projects take years to develop, often involving hundreds of people working on everything from coding and level design to cinematics and voice acting.
