Google Releases New TV Streamer Device to Replace Chromecast

Google has launched a new TV streaming device to replace the long-standing Chromecast dongle. The Google TV Streamer is a 4K set-top-box that Google says will improve on much of Chromecast’s features, including doubling as a smart home hub, a fresh design and utilizing AI to recommend content.

As is the case with Chromecast, users can add their subscriptions to Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV and others. The Streamer will also have access to over 800 channels, according to Google. (Forbes)
