OTT Growing in Europe, US Continues to Pull Ahead (Advanced Television)

Parks Associates has published international data from the company’s OTT Video Market Tracker service showing OTT video usage in Western Europe is continuing to expand, with 55 per cent of UK broadband households and 51 per cent in France watching TV programming and movies online, compared to 70 per cent in the US However, the number of paid subscriptions in Europe is significantly lower, where 30 per cent of broadband households in the UK and 17 per cent in France subscribe to OTT video, compared to 64 per cent of US broadband households.
